No, the special hardcover Art Book is a premium Early Bird only for those who pledge the “Kickstarter Edition”. You can always upgrade your pledge before the end of the campaign to meet the requirements of the Early Bird. However, if you like the Art Book and you don’t want to change your pledge, you can add it to your order as an add-on in the pledge manager after the campaign ends. Don’t miss it!

[Pledge] How does the Keepers Glory Pledge work?
We have always given our backers the chance to upgrade their €1 pledge later in the pledge manager. Now, especially now, due to the terrible circumstances we all are facing, we want to repeat this. All those who pledge €1 during the campaign will get access to the pledge manager maintaining the same Kickstarter offers.
Please take into consideration that those who pledge the Keepers Glory will get access to the Early Bird reward only if they upgrade it before the end of the campaign to the Kickstarter Edition pledge. At the closing of the pledge manager the Keepers Glory pledge does not allow you to redeem to Tabula Pulse’s rewards.

[Add-on pin] What is the #andratuttobene Special Pin? What does it mean and what is it for?
The Pin #andratuttobene is a special add-on we designed for backers, in Italy and worldwide, who want to engage in the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and show their support. As you know, we are living in a very difficult time because of this global emergency, which is causing serious consequences on the life of us all. Our work could be done in some way digitally, and despite all the difficulties this entails, we decided to keep on working on the campaign to bring our project to life, since we believe this could be a way to not give in to this sad situation. The special pin brings a message of resiliency, #andratuttobene, which means “everything will be fine”. The add-on can be purchased for 5€ in the pledge manager at the end of the campaign. All proceeds will go to the Protezione Civile Italiana, which collects funds to sustain their efforts against the pandemic in Italy.

[Early Bird and returning backers] Can I get more than one free Hardcover Art Book if I’m an Early Bird and a Returning Backer?
No, you can’t get more than one free Hardcover Artbook. If you already pledged in the first 72h (you’re awesome!), and you choose the “Kickstarter Edition” pledge, you already obtained that reward! If, as a returning Backer, you get the same reward from Tabula Pulse by any means, you still get only one free add-on. Also, your name will be one of the first inside the Kickstarter edition magnetic box since the names are listed in order backed!

[Sanctuary: The Keepers Era - retail edition] Is a retail edition of the game available?
For the retail channel there is the special bundle containing 12x “Lands of Dawn“ and 12x “Lands of Dusk”. That bundle is only for those who will provide their VAT number. The Kickstarter Edition is not available for retail, but maybe in the future there will be further releases, like we have done with the Essential Edition of Mysthea.

They are standard “poker size” cards (63.5mm X 88.9 mm).

[Game components] Why are there so many Splendor and Aegis tokens inside the magnetic box?
Sanctuary Cards have two tracks to represent their variable values. You can either choose to keep track of their score by moving a single token on the numbers of each track, but we choose to enrich the Kickstarter Edition with premium components such as the playmats, where every token can be used as a representation of one point on the corresponding track. This ensures a better readability and, therefore, improves the usability of the game, but it also requires to include a higher number of tokens inside the box.

[Shipping] Why in some regions do I have to pay the same shipping cost for the Land of Dawn and the Land of Dusk as I would pay for the Kickstarter magnetic box?
Each region has its own weight ranges to which a certain shipping cost is linked. In some regions, like Canada and Norway, both the smaller games and the magnetic box are considered in the same volume/weight rank so we get the same shipping cost.

[Riddles] How can I play the Boardgamegeek Riddles?
The Riddles will be published on our Board Game Geek page (Sanctuary: The Keepers Era) every mon-tue-wed-thu. The Riddles are challenging ways to test your knowledge of the game and your strategic skills: in order to solve a riddle, you need to write down a list of moves that you can perform in one turn to win a given battle. The fastest player to post the correct answer is declared the winner. We planned the Riddles to offer a source of entertainment for our backers, and a way to reward the most passionate ones. You will be able to find a new riddle every working day of the week except Friday. On Monday and Wednesday, new riddles will come out at 6PM CEST, while on Tuesday and Thursday they are scheduled for 10AM CEST, so that all the time zones are covered and everyone gets their chance to play.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
